A duathlon for ages 10 to 100,
basically flat course with very short distances:
1.4 mile run  
4 mile bike ride
1.2 mile run  
all distances are approximate

This race is a great place to try a multisport event this fall.
No swimming in a du, so we don't have to worry about the cold weather.
Just dress for the weather and run-bike-run.
Anyone ages 10 through adult is welcome to participate.
Awards ceremony and snacks following the race.
T-shirts or another exciting premium to all entrants.

Award Categories (male and female):  First 3 places overall,
Top 2 in each age group (depending on race turnout):
10-14, 15-19, five-year age groups from 20 to 60+

Entry fee: 
$50 until August 15
$59 August 16 to October 15
$68 October 16 to November 11
(with USAT Annual Membership or add $10 one-day license fee)

For ages 17 & under: 
USAT Annual Youth Membership ($5) is required for registration

Athlete Sign-in / Packet pickup Saturday, 11/13/10 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Road Runner Sports 1120 West Broad St. Falls Church, VA 22046 or   Saturday, 11/13/10 3-4 p.m. at the Freedom Center or Sunday, 11/14 (race morning) 6:15 to 6:45 at the Freedom Center
