Start: Freedom Center parking lot

Exit transition area on side nearest building, turning right as you exit the transition area
go to the end of the building and turn left
go to next corner of the building and turn left onto the service road that goes behind the building.
at the end of the service road, use the mulched path to continue circling the building until you reach the sidewalk beside George Mason Circle
continue to right turn on the sidewalk just before the first building
Follow the signs and the sidewalk as it goes along behind the university buildings and leads you around the last building
cross the road at the crosswalk and turn left to enter the sidewalk on the parking lot side of the street
continue on sidewalk across wooden bridge and go straight ahead through parking lot
turn right on sidewalk that goes along Freedom Center Blvd
turn right at corner, continuing on sidewalk along University Blvd
go to cone marking the turnaround, and make lefthand u-turn to return to corner
left turn at the corner (staying on sidewalk along Freedom Center Blvd)
take first left turn into and across the parking lot (crossing on the grass as marked with arrows)
continue back across the wooden bridge and stay on the sidewalk to where you cross the road on the crosswalk
make a right onto the sidewalk on the building side of the road
Continue ON SIDEWALK all the way back toward the Freedom Center
continue to the finish line as you approach the Freedom Center building.
