Tune Up Tri

The TUNE UP TRI is a short distance triathlon to start off your season..
It may be the first tri you've ever done,
or you might use it to see where your winter training has brought you so far.
It's a tune-up...hone your skills
and remember what it feels like to race 3 sports in one event!

The Tune Up Tri has a twist in it:
since we're racing in March and don't want icicles in our hair.....
we'll start the triathlon with the run, then do the bike,
and finally end up with a "snake swim" at the pool
(so you begin your swim whenever you arrive, not having to wait for an empty lane)

1.4 mile run
4 mile bike ride
250 yard swim (in a pool)
all distances are approximate

Chip timing.
T-shirts to all finishers.
Awards ceremony, doorprizes, snacks, and massage following the race.

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by

there will be no race day registration

Entry fee:
$54 until Dec. 31
$59 Jan. 1 to Feb. 22
$65 Feb. 23 to March 24
(with USAT Annual Membership or add $10 one-day license fee)

For ages 17 & under:
USAT Annual Youth Membership ($5) is required for registration
(see membership info at www.usatriathlon.org)

no refunds after January 31, 2010
(partial refunds upon request until that date)
no transfer of registrations allowed

RUNNING SHOE RECYCLING PROGRAM
As part of that effort, we collected MANY of your re-usable old running shoes for recycling
at packet pickup and at the race during the Tune Up Tri weekend. We will donate them to One World Running.
